LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE) – Saviynt, a leading provider of intelligent identity and access governance solutions, today released a commissioned study conducted by Forrester Consulting on Saviynt’s behalf, The Total Economic ImpactTM of Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud. The study examines the cost savings and business benefits enabled by Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud. According to Forrester’s findings, organizations deploying Saviyntachieved a 240 percent initial return on investment (ROI) and $34.4 million in financial benefits over three years.

The Forrester TEI study shows many quantifiable benefits achieved by companies using Saviynt, which are based on a composite of Saviynt customers that Forrester interviewed. Examples of these benefits include:

  • More than $11 million in savings through application access automation and reduced provisioning time throughout the user identity lifecycle
  • $8.6 million in benefits from efficiencies gained through Segregation of Duties (SOD) automation to avoid a breach, costly audit failures, and non-compliance
  • A $4.5 million benefit resulting from a 90 percent time reduction in employee and contractor onboarding
  • More than $8 million in benefits through the automation of user application access reviews

In addition, the study found substantial unquantifiable benefits to organizations that choose Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud, including:

  • Reduced IT resolution time through increased visibility, automation, and self-service features
  • Flexibility to support the work-from-anywhere IT model as the security perimeter continues to grow beyond traditional offices
  • Partnership and customization through uninterrupted support and security enhancements required as organizations scale operations

Enterprise customers interviewed in the study praised Saviynt’s cloud-first, single platform approach. “Saviynt has some very unique features that their competitors don’t offer,” said a Senior Manager of Identity and Access Management interviewed by Forrester. “The combination of their bigger governance application offerings, direct connectors, and user access review capability, all in a cloud-based solution… it’s been a game changer for us.”

Forrester’s research indicates that identity management solutions are increasingly required to manage and secure the rapid expansion of identity-related data, which started with traditional employees, vendors, contractors, and customers, but has quickly grown to include silicon-based entities like IoT devices, bots, service accounts, RPA, workloads, and more.

“Saviynt was designed to simplify the adoption of identity technologies, improve an enterprise’s security posture, and enable organizations to maintain continuous regulatory compliance,” said Amit Saha, Saviynt’s CEO. “We believe the findings of the Forrester study prove that we’re not only delivering on that goal, but doing so in a way that brings tremendous economic benefits to our customers as they adapt to the rapidly evolving cybersecurity and regulatory landscape.”
